The GIVF - Society for Reproductive Medicine (GIVF - SRM) was established to promote research in reproduction and to disseminate information to the public at large.

GIVF was formed in 2006, and offering courses, workshops, symposiums and conventions accreditated by The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). 

GIVF is the oldest organisation in Pakistan offering internationally accreditated programmes in the field of Reproductive Health & ART.

GIVF-SRM is the primary organization of professionals dedicated to the practice of Reproductive Medicine in Pakistan, including ART.

ART includes the practice of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intra-Vaginal Culturing (IVC), Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI), and Intra-Uterine Tuboperitoneal Insemination (IUTPI).

The mission of our organization is to set up and help maintain the standards for ART in an effort to better serve our members and patients.

The Society was formed by the oldest professional forum in Pakistan, GIVF Club (www.givfclub.com) . The GIVF-SRM carries forward the long standing heritage of the GIVF Club in being one of the principal reproductive health forum specialising in organising courses, workshops, symposium, conventions and conferences in the field of Reproductive Medicine & ART.

The Society’s principal aim is to support research and teaching in all aspects of reproductive health. This is accomplished through the following specific activities:

Supporting and organizing at least one substantial scientific meeting per year. 
Providing sponsorship for workshops to discuss specific topics of relevance to the society in detail.
Providing support for Summer studentships enabling undergraduate students to gain research experience by undertaking a research project in reproductive biology.
Providing  support to cover travel and living expenses, enabling senior traveling scientists to give a series of lectures at different venues throughout the Pakistan.
Providing members with an interactive website with links to disseminate information and discussions on topics of general and specific interest to members.
Developmement and Implementation of Rules & Regulations for Members Practicing in ART.
Development of Code of Ethics to be followed by all members and affiliates of the society.
Assessing and, where appropriate, supporting new initiatives that arise which will benefit the membership.
Producing a quarterly journal which publishes top quality papers in reproductive biology, named FERTILITY & VIRILITY (a registered trademark of GIVF Club).
Publishing proceedings of meetings or symposia as supplements.
